The Bury St Edmunds, 84 service West Suffolk Hospital 15:15 will be terminating at Thetford Bus Station at 16:45 we are unable to serve Barnham on this service.

MOnday 11th March 2024

IMMEDIATE EFFECT - Road Closure - Bury Road, Thetford

Due to an incident over the weekend on the Bury Road, we are unable to service the stops on this part of the route. Should you wish to use this service to Bury St Edmunds, all buses are running according to the timetable from Thetford Interchange.  This is an ongoing situation to which we have no control.

Green Road Brandon 26/01/2024

Green Road in Brandon is currently closed due to an emergency road closure, our 86 service is currently unable to serve all stops along Green Road & Rattlers Road.

Passengers are advised to catch the 86 along the Thetford Road in Brandon or at the Bus stop at the main entrance to Tesco.

Due to major road works taking place from Openreach at the Chase Traffic lights in Thetford Services are running with delays & are subject to cancellations & curtailments.

We are operating extra staff & vehicles where we can but we advise passengers to keep an eye on our live maps when waiting for a certain service. 

Most impacted routes the the 83 / 84 & 86.

Disruption is due to continue until 12/01/2024.

Fornham Road Closure 15th of September.

We will be unable to serve the following bus stop in Fornham St Genevieve between the hours of 10:00 & 15:00 on the 15th of September as works are undertaken.

We will be unable to serve the following bus stop in Fornham St Genevieve between the hours of 10:00 & 15:00 on the 19th of June as works are undertaken.

Road Closure Tayfen road Bury St Edmunds

From the 14th of February 2023 Tayfen Road in Bury St Edmunds will be closed for 3 weeks due to engineering works taking place. During the closure our services 84 & 86 will be unable to serve the following stops;

• Tollgate Lane Bus Stop
• Bury St Edmunds Tesco
• Bury St Edmunds Rail Station

During the closure we will follow the diversion around Beetons Way & the Newmarket Road.

86A will operate as normal (please note the 1st week is half term) but delays are expected at peak times.

Road Closure in Fornham 16th - 23rd October

Today Wed 5th Oct 2022 - This closure has now lifted & services are running as normal through Fornham as of 17/10/2022.

Due to a new gas connection being installed the B1106 through Fornham St Genevieve & Fornham St Martin will be closed to all traffic from the 16th to the 23rd of October. 

During the closure we will be unable to serve the following bus stops;

 - Fornham St Martin The Woolpack

From the 16th to the 23rd of October the Culford Road will be closed from Oak close in Fornham St Genevieve. During the closure the buses will divert around to Barton Hill & be unable to serve the following stops.
