For over 6 decades now we having been providing transport for the local area.
Up until the last 3 years we were primarily a Coach Hire / Contract Hire company specialising in education Transport & Private Coach Hire to groups & Social Clubs.
Shift Into Local Bus Transport
Emphasis on low floor – easy access
Thetford has seen many operators in & out of the Town Centre, most predominantly First Bus & Eastern Counties.
After winning Contracts to operate Thetford Town Service in the early 2000’s from Norfolk County Council we quickly realised the potential Thetford had should the current operators change their approach to the Town.
So change our approach was what we did.
In 2009 we took a big step registering a local bus service between Thetford & Bury St Edmunds with two brand new Scania Low Floor Wrights Buses. First Bus quickly cancelled their service & we picked up the existing patronage. Passenger numbers grew dramatically year upon year & the service now operates every 30 minutes from Thetford Bus Station to cope with the demand.
A year later we added a service from Brandon to Bury St Edmunds & recently added the Brandon – Lakenheath – Mildenhall corridor to our Network which again has seen an increase in patronage of up to 60% over the last two years & we quickly added extra buses & higher frequency to the mix.
We emphasize on low floor /easy access buses with a brand new vehicle added to the fleet every year since the commercial operations commenced 4 years ago.
On our commercial operations we are 100% low floor.
