Major Changes to service between Thetford & Kings Lynn

From the 24th of July we will be making some major changes to our services between Thetford - Brandon & Kings Lynn.

The 40 service will cease to operate & be replaced by a new 88/89 service with increased frequencies & later buses on weekdays & weekends.

Service 88

Will run every 2 hours between Thetford - Mundford - Northwold & Kings Lynn with the last bus back at 17:40 instead of 16:40. We will also introduce a Saturday service along the same route with 6 journeys. The increased frequencies will give passengers more choice for travel & will give access to the coastal regions of Norfolk with the Norfolk Fusion Multi Operator Ticket.

Service 89

Will continue largely as the 40 does at present linking the villages of Weeting / Hockwold / Feltwell / Methwold but will now have peak journeys that operate all year round instead of School Dates only. We will also be including West Dereham & Wretton into all journeys to Kings Lynn so these villages now have a regular service.

These service enhancements have been funded along with the Travel Norfolk Scheme in partnership with Norfolk County Council.
